About Neerupama
Neerupama is a 501 C-3 registered not-for-profit organization, founded in 2008, with the mission to empower “street children” to realize their potential through programs in a) English literacy (“REACH”) b) health & hygiene awareness building (“HealthNet”) and the c) performing arts (“Art for Starts”). We have been administering programs for the past year in Kolkata and Mumbai for more than 200 street girls between the ages of 5-14 with the goal for them to avail better education & employment opportunities in the long-term. Jeffrey D. Sachs is the Director of The Earth Institute, Quetelet Professor of Sustainable Development, and Professor of Health Policy and Management at Columbia University. Samir Chatterjee is a virtuoso tabla player from India. Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey - Signature Diverse Summer Associate Mixer

The wait is over. Now in its 7th year, and with nearly 300 attendees last year, this event is easily the most popular and anticipated networking event of the Summer. If you missed it last year, get there early to avoid traffic and long lines.

We even considered not advertising or marketing the event at all this year. In the end, we at least decided that we could not afford to keep feeding nearly 300 people - free of charge. So, this year paid HBA-NJ members/law students will pay $10.00 and non-members will pay $25.00.
